How do I get "points"?

I wnet to enter the top Drawer and it said only registered users with 50 or more points can do this. what are "points" and how do I get them please?

ah ok well I just hit 50 posts today. I should be able to check it out.. btw anyone know when they are going to fix the "can't create a new comic" bug?
