I know this has come up before, but how do you end being an assistant to a comic? There's not a control for it under the panel...or not one I can see..

You'll have to ask the comic owner to remove you. If they can't or won't, then send a PQ to Volte6. :)

What's the point of being an Assistant anyway? What is their 'job'?

If you're an Assistant on a comic, you can upload pages and whatnot like the comic owner.
