I made toffee chillies for a fate once (like toffee apples but meaner). That was fun.

From what I understand, the stuff just causes a severe pain reaction, without doing the amount of damage that'd normally be required to elicit that amount of pain.

So... you could say it's a whimpy way of experiencing pain in your mouth. lol!

Eh, mouth pain. If I want that I'll go to a dentist.

Heh. I've done that. It's no big deal. Then again I'm a good ol' Texas guy who can eat spicy food on a regular basis that could kill someone who lived up north. I'm one of those guys who finds the "His salsa came from New York" joke quite funny.



By the way, sugar works as well as milk. Lemon juice does, too.

Try going to a Thai place run by real Thai people and ask them to spice it like they would for themselves.

Or Indian place, whatever.
