I saw it last night, I have to say its not as good as the first one, but second parts rarely are anyway.
This one focused more on the group of people that do the killing and their mindset. Its a pretty good movie.
And its not nearly as violent as the first one.

Is that even possible?
Oh, before I forget, what was "the most shocking ending in horror history"?

The ending is nothing special. It does involve a severed penis though.

Oooooooooookay.
Clearly, Eli Roth has a severely twisted mind.

Yay, another gory slasher.
Horror films needs something more than just killing here, killing there. Massive amounts of blood, guts, shocking scenes that are as tame as watching a cute episode of Blue's Clues, and meaningless insights on our culture that are as deep as a puddle. A severed head and people playing soccer is a shocking ending? Please. A shocking ending would be something like a very twisted killer, a group of people try to stop him and they all die trying. The killer gets away and find another group. Now that would be a shocking ending.

To sell tickets. Of course, when you've held people that are dying in your arms, its hard to be scared by crappy horror movies. The original was touted as being the scariest thing since hell, and look how terrible it was. It was mostly eurotrip with a crazy exploitation movie switch in the middle. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I liked Cabin Fever the same way. Its okay, but no. If I want new horror stuff, I'll turn to Rob Zombie, but even then, what he's doing is something completely different. All eli roths doing is bullshit.
