I'm counting on Madonna to die next. after all, she's another star that's been around for a while... and you do have to admit that she's getting in on her years, even if she's still hot somewhat.

Madonna is like some sort of female Elvis with her status as a pop musician now... Just because she's been around so long. She's NEVER ever made anything truly memorable or amazing, not even to the level of Michael Jackson. She's basically the granny version of Brittany Spears and Lady Gaga or whoever is the up and coming vapid of the week singing spank-doll.

It'll be someone no one here ever heard of. Probably another classic Hollywood actor no one knew was still alive. The famous person "threes" are filled in by once well known musicians or character actors whose names never make it into the headlines.

If Gene Hackman, James Caan or Donald Sutherland died would anyone know who they were? (Isn't one Kieffer Sutherland's dad?) How about Chuck Yeager?

Eh, none of them are that obscure an, and though our culture is currently quite youth focussed, unlike Iran there are relatively few young people compared to older ones.

The only way those deaths wouldn't make a splash is if the majority of the population had a really short memory... Which they do to an extent I suppose. -_-

I'm sad to hear about people dying, but I take issue with the implication that Billy Mays was "awesome". He was such a grating and obnoxious salesman and he yelled everything he said. To be honest, I'd trade in Billy Mays, Vince Schlomi, and Ron Popiel if we could just have Phil Hartman back. Or Chris Farley.

Truthfully though, you look at him in the old movies and he really does look like a big tough guy. He doesn't even have to do anything aggressive or show off silly muscles or kiddy fighting moves, he just LOOKED tough.
Eastwood looks mean, Stallone looks dumb, and Schwarzenegger just looked impassive, But Wayne looked truly tough. Kind too. Like the battle version of Robert Mitchum.

With Norris... something tells me he's leading a double life and we'll probably find out about it only after he dies.

he was a famous icon... i don't know maybe its the fact i never heard of that lady... or that i was born around the time michael jackson started becoming weird but of the three billy mayes was rly the only person whose death rly hit home.

(though the non-stop 'you'de-think-it-was-some-sort-of-terrorist-attack' media frenzy about michael jackson's death didn't help much about my view on it... seriosly its been more than a week now they should really start at least airing some different news... >_<
