Just wondering what you think are some of the funniest anime titles out there. I'd say Chromartie High School, Galaxy Angel, Genshiken, Dragon-Half, Shinesman, Excel Saga, Miami Guns.

Rusuban Ebichu (Ebichu Minds the House). I don't suggest it for young children because it's completely perverted, but it's hilarious.

I concur with all of those and would give major praise for the mentioning of a great classic like Dragon Half!
I would like to throw in the disturbulations of Ping Pong Club
(and I wouldnt be surprised if Im the only one who has seen that!)
Warning! This OP sequence has nudity!
Also, the second Gin Rei special .. Blue Flower and Daisaku in a dress! yaay!
Oh yes, and Mahoujin Guru Guru! and Shin Papuwa-kun!

Azumanga Daioh and Chromartie High School probably.
The most unintentionally funny anime I can think of, I can't remember the name to! It was about some overly shy girl who was in love with some popular guy, but was afraid to say anything. Then she finally tells him, and he likes her to and they end up dating. So, she has had her dream come true, shes dating her true love, here comes the funny part.
She gets hit by a car a put into acoma for 3 years. HAHAHA
Then when she finally wakes up out of the coma, the guy she was in love with was getting married to HER BEST FRIEND
It was all trying to be so serious, but man, I laughed my ass off, she has like the worst luck ever...
My friend who was watching it with me was like "thats so sad it makes me want to cry" but I couldnt stop laughing....

silentkittyI second this! Funniest anime ever!

Shin-Chan (spelling?) is good too, and better for younger viewers I suppose, but still very funny!
That anime about the wrestling guys with the weird heads has hilarious moments like when the hero's chasing the guy around the ring who has a toilet for a head, threatening to take a **** in his face. Or when he gets really scared and starts wetting himself like a fountain and runs around screaming "make it stop, Make it stop!" in a panicked way while waving his arms around and crying, trying to stop himself from pissing all over the place, with the other guys telling him to keep away so they don't get any piss on them either lol!

First, that's the 4Kids version, which sucked.
Second, the original Kinnikuman was much better.
And third, Azumanga Daioh is hilarious.

I'm addicted to Lupin III -- mostly the dubbing. That's some good stuff. Probably the only anime series that I will watch only the dubbed version. (The last DVD I watched, I nearly did a spit take to an unexpected line involving sheep in Australia...)

Sexy Commando Gaiden Sugoiyo!! Masaru-san. It is honestly the silliest anime I have ever seen, complete with low-budget really really poor animation...
It starts off kind of slow, but just PLEASE WATCH THE FIRST EPISODE!!

I liked The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya for the male protagonist's Seinfeld-like humor.
I liked Fooly Cooly for its crazy physical humor.
I thought Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni was pretty funny. Watch it for a nice laugh.

Gag Manga Biyori. This anime/manga is 10 times funnier than Shin Chan and every episodes is hilarious! But I heard that both the English subbed and dubbed version didn't translate well and a lot of the humor is completely lost. I didn't watch the English subbed or dubbed version so I actually find the humor really well done.
Kinnikuman manga rocks even if it's a 70's manga.

I've started to watch it, but why did they put it in non-chronological order? Not only would that cause confusion, it may also release spoilers.

Don't sweat it. Half the ppl on DD forums are girls pretending to be guys. Or just girls who don't advertise that they're girls.
@ Aqua Ng:
The Haruhi anime is better in anachronistic order. The director made a brilliant decision, and it works.
After you watch it in anachronistic order, proceed to watch it in chronological order for a different feel to the series.
