hi there, im new and i have an avatar problem

i see all the members here have a bigger and clearer avatar,but when im trying to add one they say that it has to be 100X100 and its FUSTRATING!!! help me!! how can i have a bigger avatar?

Well, it does have to be 100x100. Are you sure the avatar you're trying to upload isn't larger than that?

Make sure the image you're trying to upload is 100 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall. You can check by right clicking an image and looking at the 'properties' where it'll say the height and width.

I checked your current avatar by copying and saving it. It says its 75x72. You might want to double check to see if you did get 100x100 pixels for your image.
Also, remember that anytime you change images by more than 10% in size. Its going to gain or lose informations and it will alter the image clarity and details. Sometime it looks good, no matter what. Sometime it doesnt. There is some cheap cheats that sometime works for me. I use the scrolls on my mouse to expand or shrink the image, but it usually doesnt affect the image or the memory of the file because its not finalized yet. I shrink it down to appoxmitly 100x100 and press "Print Screen" button on the keyboard. Then I just paste new image, crop and ta-dah! If its not exactly 100x100, its fixable with re-size.
