Hi, Drunk Duck!

My name's Nick. I'm 23 years old, and I major in law. Hobbies include homebrew game development, video games, women, debating, and now comics~!

I used to draw stick figure comics all the time in high school. I had an entire notebook dedicated to them... usually they were about inside jokes between my friends and I, but like the comics I do now, they mostly consisted of political humor and overall parodies of pop culture. That notebook was lost, somehow, and years later I've decided to rekindle my old hobby. And man, do I love it!

At first I was simply posting them on my Facebook, but when I hated how Facebook resized images, it would always make things harder to read and take away detail. That's when I looked for a way to put my comics on a hosting site, and that's how I found you all!

I'm not going to lie; my artistic talent is slim to none, below mediocre. While I'd love to do comics professionally on the side (my favorite author is Stephen Pastis), I doubt such a thing could ever happen. So basically, I do this all for my own enjoyment. Despite that, I'm very open to constructive criticism.

Anyways, my comic is La Vie a la Mode. I'm happy to join the community, and see what you all are capable of! :)

Plague man, your art style is very impressive! It's a fairly accurate throwback to 1920's era cartoons! I'll be sure to keep an eye on it. :)

Your comic is very funny (my favorite was the wedding one).Don't beat yourself over the art,it looks adorable and it suits the comic tone.I'm looking forward to seeing more stuff =)

Yeah. I came across what appeared to be a porno one while browsing. You find ones of all kinds here, I guess.
