You have to use a scanner. Read the scanner's manual. :)
Plug it in acording to the method indicated by the instructions ;)

yeah is impossible to give you the whole instructions...
If you can't find or don't have your scanner manual you can get it on the web, most scanners have their manuals on the web, free to download in PDF at the vendor's site (generally under "support" section)
