I have this design for a comic war thingy, but I would like some help. I am terrible with metal, and her necklace only came out looking okay by luck. I have no idea how to make her tiara stop looking like hammered iron. any ideas? If you spot anything else wrong, please point it out, I want her to look perfect when shes done :)

you just need more shadows and lights when you color. to get the glowing metal effect i used a reduce opacity color dodge. brush set to soft edges

That looks really good! I'm terrible with shading with color. Are you ever in the drunkduck IRC room? Im on as "Mel" and I'd love to weasel some tips out of you :)
