I've was looking to start a recurring Web comic, after having one in the past hosted by a college publication. I still cartoon for my college newspaper but I wanted something with characters.

Belated welcome to you! I was thinking of asking my school if I could put a comic in their paper, but I doubt it because...being a community college and all...our newspaper is only one page long. I know you will enjoy it here on the Duck, and I hope to see more of you in the forums :)

Mushroomcomix, I wanted to have a daily strip in the paper (like Aaron McGruder did with the Boondocks) but they wouldn't take, and they force cartoonists to cartoon in vertical box slots, which I guess is why Verne will be the same way. I don't even know how to cartoon in a horizontal 3-panel... thanks for the welcome!
