A new Gundam game comming out for the Wii. From the looks of the gameplay vids, you play in first person perspective, can play with 4 people on multiplayer split screen. And I guess you play through all the eras of Gundam during the campaing mode., but I don't know Japanese, I know a lot of french but no japanese.

I've never cared much for Gundam games, or really games based on ANY anime.

First off, the game is set in the UC timeline, so the date is not 0079 AD. Second, Shplane is right that most Gundam titles have been pretty lackluster, particularly those made by Bandai (who also makes this game). This one looks like it could lie more on the boring side judging from that gameplay vid. Also, according to the video and the previews I've read, it only supports two players in the multiplayer modes, not four. The story mode only covers events occuring in UC 0079 and primarily focuses on the storyline from the original TV series.

The game is out in Japan and has yet to be announced for release in the US. Considering how long it's been out in Japan and the relatively short amount of time it would take to localize the game, I wouldn't hold my breath at this point.

This is for a Next-Gen Console. Even for the Wii, it's pretty meh.
