there's no CGI or anything like that. the first one is a lot more tongue in cheek than the second. but both are very good in their own rights.

I love both Gremlins. The second one takes itself a bit less seriously (given the material) but they're both very fun and often silly movies.
Also, I had a Gizmo doll as a kid... used to freak me out. I related more to the reptilian ones.
