Finally a game where it isn't sci-fi or fantasy, but rather takes place in a Baroque setting. Aside from the usual warlock, wizard, fighter, you can be a musketeer, which is a great addition to mmorpg's. Plus, it is going to be suscription free unless you want to go over level 20, buy special items, etc. Also to check out is the art by Limha Lekan, which is simply amazing. Oh yeah, the english version is called Sword of the New World.

In other words, you have a character with a gun instead of a bow/crossbow. That's not much of an innovation. To me it looks like all the same character classes (muskateer=archer) and enemy types, the same general approach, with just a change in the look and setting.

Subscription free unless you want to go over level 20? So in other words, if you actually want to play, you do have to pay. =p

Well I usually get bored with MMORPG'S before I get to level 20. Plus haven't other games based their system on this kind of payment options. Plus I usually don't mind if unlike FF or others it free to download and play. Isukun you are right to point the archer=musketeer so I guess the innovations left are that you can form families and control 3 characters at once easily so no waiting for healers, etc. Later.

I have wanted to play this game ever since i saw i in tv last year.
BTW: If it has wizards and stuff it is fantasy.
Even more if it's located in a made up place.

I was in the beta last year and in my opinion it is a very decent MMO. Having three characters that you can easily switch between is useful and opens lots of opportunity for things like combo attacks and the like. It's also useful when loosing to a really tough mob because someone can stay behind and distract the monster while someone else runs like mad. It's not really "innovative" in any way, just different.

I've seen this game splashed all over websites a lot (I do a lot of MMO website crawling for my own MMO List Site) and although the idea of controlling 3 characters is a bit off-putting (IMO), and the fee if you go over level 20 is a bit of a let down as it was rumoured to be a free game, I've falling in love with the style. I know fantasy is a common theme for MMORPG's, and the classes are unoriginal, but the graphical style of the French Renaissance is beautiful. I hope more games in development will try this style out, could be a nice change from the over used medieval style.
Having said the 3 player control doesn't appeal I think I'd probably give the game a go if it went F2P.
