Blambot has a lot of great fonts that are free for artists to use. Check them out, pick one that you like and viola~ :)
I tend to use Digital Script for comics BTW. It looks good and it's not Comic San.

Yeah, Blambot lets you do it to it in a most aesthetically pleasing manner. I'm a huge fan of their fonts Chattery Teeth, Voodoo Doll, and Digital Strip. If not, try Font Freak and just hunt around for fonts you like.
Make sure they're readable, too. Fancy fonts are usually not the best for comics.

DIGITALSTRIP is what we use. Works well for word balloons.

1001fonts.com is a pretty good place to start when looking for new fonts. They list Blambot and a whole whack of others.

Yup. Blambot for me too. I use "Zud Juice and "Badaboom". *needs to get more sound effect fonts*
You can find plenty of fonts all over the place as well. Googleing it usually does the trick.

Blambot here too. Except I use Mighty Zeo because I like that I can use upper and lower case. I think drilling grammar into my head all these years has messed me up. Before that I used LetterOMatic, also from Blambot.
Personally for me, I love fonts that are rounded and soft for use in comics. It seems to look like it belongs more than the ones that are uh.. blocky? Something like that. >>
