I'm looking for some good anime made before the 90s, but beware I'm kinda picking. So if you can, please don't post a anime that has:
1. A overload of sexual fan service(panty shots, boobs moving when the woman is not, etc)
2. Over 100 eps
3. Lame female characters

This:
-------------------------------
Eh... All that good anime that made it to the west first like Battle of the Planets, Star blazers, Robotech, Astro Boy, Kimba the white lion, Mya the bee, etc, etc. They're all good and pretty safe in terms of what you're asking.
...can't recall all the original Japanese names.
FanGurlZcan't exist without this:
Good anime

If your saying that a good anime can't exist without fanservice than I must prove you wrong my good friend: Cowboy bebop, Spirited Away, Case Closed, Trigun, Yu Yu Hakusho, Grave of the fireflies, etc.

Grave of the Fireflies had fanservice? I always thought of it as the ultimate kick in the groin.

FanGurlZ- Haha, I was joking :P
Still, boobs and bums make a bad anime tolerable.
TheMidge28- Hahaha, ya, she knows, she's just trying to list some without too much of it, regardless of when they were made.
Wow, come to think of it, even older, "safer" stuff has the odd panty-shot etc... Except for Kimba? o_O
At least I hope there's none in Kimba... D:

No, I'm saying that it didn't have fan service.
Oh, okay. Because you began your list with Cowboy Bebop, I thought you were listing anime that did have fanservice.

Bagi
Future Boy Conan (especially if you like Ghibli stuff)
Sherlock Hound
Area 88
What's Michael?
Maison Ikkoku (has some fan service, but is a really good series, nonetheless, Rumiko Takahashi at her best, in my opinion)

I gotta agree with this statement. Faye Valentine was like Fan-service: the character.
Most of the anime I like (that isn't miyazaki) has some fanservice in it. Dominion Tank Police, Venus Wars, Gunsmith Cats, Lupin (very yes), Kenshin. After you watch enough anime though they all just kinda blend together.

Yes, I know cowboy bebop has "some" fanservice and I know alot of the anime I listed has "some" fan service, however they do not have it to the point where there is an overload of it.
What I'm basically saying is I don't want a anime that is like Tenjou Tenge or that has a main female character who is only there for fanservice such as Yoko from Gurren Lagann.
And before anybody someone compares Faye and Yoko. Faye doesn't even have half the amount of fanservice scenes as Yoko.
Dominon, Lupin, and Kenshin are exactly the kind of shows I'm looking for.
