Oh, there were lots of old cartoons I enjoyed watching as a kid and in my teens. Tom and Jerry, Loony Toons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Centurions, Gargoyles, Spiderman and so on.
Hold it! Those are considered old now!?!
Thanks martinlo. You really succeeded at making me feel old now.

Spartacus and the Sun Beneath the Sea, Maya the Bee, Foofur, Centurions, Tarzan and the Super 7, TMNT, He-Man, etc.
I remember the pre-Saturday teasers they used to show the night before to get everyone excited about the new season line ups. TV Guide even had special inserts to keep score of them.

Superman's, Batman's, and Spiderman's respective Saturday-morning cartoons, of course.
TMNT- me and everyone I knew watched it.
Looney Toons
Dexter's Lab
Voltron and Thundercats when I was really little.
My grandfather had all these VHS tapes of these really old B&W Superman cartoons. I'd watch those every morning whenever I visited him. He still has them.
Pretty much the only anime I ever really watched on a regular basis was DBZ when it was still aired on Cartoon Network, mostly because it was really popular at my school and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Looking back now, I can't believe I got sucked into watching something so bad. :-p

Ultimate Spiderman
Is that the one where he got a nano-suit and lived on a planet that was essentially the island of Dr. Moreau?
Oh and didn't they only make a single season that ended in a cliffhanger?
Those were my two cents.

I mostly remember the animated cartoon world of commercials. I swear, every single cereal not only had an animated mascot, but also its own world.
Being a kid was great, you'd sit down and watch a TV show that was a twenty minute toy/movie commercial only to have ten minutes of snack commercials breaks in it.

I was watching Aqua Boy the other day. It was good in the way that bad shows are good.

As a kid, I regularly watched Voltron, Muppet Babies, G.I. Joe (remember when it was just a week-long, 5-episode story arc before it was a regular show?), Thunder Cats, Transformers, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends.

Most of the cartoons I watched as a kid have aged like milk. Ninja Turtles, Superfriends, Thundercats, X-Men, Voltron, The Real Ghostbusters, Garfield and Friends, Scooby-Doo, The Smurfs, Spider-Man, and the like all fall in that pile.
Of course, there are a few that still entertain me. The Simpsons have been a mainstay in my viewing habits since it first came on. I really liked Batman: The Animated Series as a child and I still do. Ren and Stimpy and Eek! The Cat can still make me laugh as well. I also watched a good amount of Dexter's Laboratory and Samurai Jack. I still enjoy those shows when I see reruns.
And, of course, the classic Warner Bros. toons directed by Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, and Friz Freleng have a special place in my heart.
