hey, I need a hand, I got gimp recently, and I need to figure out how to make the paths...uhh...end. I have an idea to make my chracters outlined, but I can't seem to get it to the state where it finally will outline it and let me mess around with it.

When you've set your last point hold control and click on the starting point. You should have yourself a closed polygon.
