Suppose 'Ghostbusters' wasn't made in 1984. Maybe 1954? Oh man, the moment I saw this around Halloween time, I couldn't stop watching it; it's well done. xD There's a few others he did, and out of the other 'premakes' others have made, this one is done by a professional... professionally. xD
Here's the frame-by-frame comparison to see what was used.

I recommend seeing his 'Forrest Gump' premake. Jimmy Stewart's casting is brilliant! I honestly can't get the trailer song 'I Feel Like a Feather in the Breeze' out of my head at all. xD
He also did a seemingly legit 'Ghostbusters 3' trailer combining bits of their Thanksgiving show, a clip from the Super Mario live-action show with the guy who played Winston in it, among others. The man is really good.
Supposedly he did the editing work on the real Gump film. If such is true, that's totally boss. 83

He even used the song from the the old 1970's live-action TV show!
Larry Storch, Forrest Tucker and friend. Now you know why the cartoon was called "real" Ghostbusters.

I used to love F Troop...
I always wanted a US cavalry outfit like the one their captain wore!
The Real Ghost Busters was a decent cartoon... not as good as the other Ghost Busters though.

I'm a fan of Venkman, Stantz and the boys. xD I'm either too young, or I loved how they tackled some serious ghosts down the road. 'Collect Call of the Cthulhu' being one of my favorites. I remember seeing an advertisement of the Filmation cartoon on some old VHS tape, and it was... xD ...neh. It looked awfully silly.

If this movie existed in 1954, it would have gone down in history AS THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER! With a cast like that, and effect as sophisticated, it could have easily dwarfed 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Rear Window AND On the Waterfront.
It would have had to OVERCOME the fact that it was a SCIENCE FICTION FILM, which was even then considered to be a KITCH GENRE, but with ALL THYOSE BIG NAMES BEHIND IT, that could be done easily.
