There is a point.
German people are what I'd like to call 'Road Law lovers'- they thought if they put up many traffic signs, the driver will be more careful...
But that isn't the case. Drivers isn't careful because they keep looking at all thoses panels, and they don't pay any attention to the road and to the other drivers.
So in a sense, it's more safe if there is fewer rules...
Also look at all thoses stupid rules as such as a signal telling someone not to drive his/her car in the lake!
Seriously, The german drivers aren't that stupid!

You should usually provide a summary of the thing you're linking to if you want to bring it up for discussion.
I feel like it's actually a pretty funny situation that a country could post so many signs that they actually become a driving hazard. I'm interested in seeing how it turns out.

I remember getting my DL in Germany when I was stationed there was horrible. You have to remember 40 out of 50 signs or something like that.

I lived in Germany and there are tons of things like this everywhere. I guess when your on the autobon doing lightspeed an hour they think all these signs help.

Wow. That's a lot of signs...the thing is, I don't think German drivers are that stupid. If anything, I think Americans need those signs...especially after the accident that happened near my house. Two kids ran over a couple and then ran into a tree and exploded. >.> *locks door and crouches in corner*
