Games you saw and ran from.

Have you seen the new Sonic Rush game? I'm a sonic fan but now I'm saying that the games are going down hill. The first one was alright but this one looks bad. I was going to get it but then I saw it and got a game That I know nothing about! That's how bad it looked. Sonic and the rings was good but the new sonic rush game put it in a bad place for future games.

Any games you run from?
I decree Boot to the head to all.

I saw the without-breaks-nonstop-"this isn't going to turn out well" train wreck that was DRIV3R and instead of running, I embraced it. From the removal of the real-time damage to the name change to the massive advertisement campaign Atari created. I stayed hopeful that the game would be good... but it wasn't.

It was the only train wreck in which I knew I was gonna get hit... and I let it hit me.

Sadly, no. No matter how much of a train wreck a game looks like, I usually give it a try. I'm like a deer in headlights that way.

I could have told you that ten years ago.

But I'll have to say Kingdom Hearts. How anyone can enjoy 40 hours of Square's bland gameplay, lack of strategy, and obnoxious voice acting is beyond me.

Lefarce.. Don't be an Ass.

Another game is the new pokemon game for the wii. God! It sucks! and I just rented it cause I had a friend that likes pokemon come over. You won't see me buying that.

Not trying to be, it's just my humble opinion. I'm a sonic fan myself, but I'm not going to fool myself into thinking the directions they're taking the franchise in are anywhere near good.

I agree with lefarce on the topic of Kingdom Hearts. The game's just not for everyone. Certainly not for me.

This isn't specific, but for the last three years or so, I've steered clear of any WW2-based games. I just can't deal with that time period anymore. It's so overused. Thankfully, it looks like we're staring to move on from that fad.

The stupid amount of COD's and MOH's and such during that period was aggravating.

Kingdom Hearts is a little...gay for my liking.
Please, please, you give me too little credit.

Square Enix has a way of pissing me off with their boss battles.

Why won't you let me save when I have already defeated you? Oh no? there's a bigger form? THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THAT FORM IN THE FIRST PLACE?! Ass.

I was at the end of my RPGs stage when I bought that one. The gameplay wasn't too horrible, but I thoroughly enjoyed running around all my favorite Disney places like Wonderland and Halloween Town :D

As soon as I had to get down to serious gameplay though I quit. Screw that colosseum.

Nowadays I only seem to go for cute gimmicky games like MySims and Picross and Cooking Mama (shut up) and anything RPG-sounding makes me run away. (Except Tingle's RPG, which I hope to enjoy through Tingle's sheer enjoyable awfulness.)

Also why are so many games on the PSP crap ones I don't want to play? I paid good money for that thing.

Well you just said that you don't play RPG's anymore... and the few good games the PSP has right now are RPG's.

So yeah.

Only game I still own for it is Portable Ops. I'm getting the remake/rehash of Final Fantasy Tactics, though.

But once that's done with the system is pretty much a brick to me.

Heh, that's funny about getting tired of certain kinds of game. I did that. Then I got tired of them all... I'm just too lazy to bother with going out and blowing some money on a games system. I don't even play them on my PC anymore! -_-

Heh, maybe when I do my next upgrade... That way I can get a super dooper extra special game to test it out...

In the mean time the only games I play when I'm really bored are flash browser games like this: http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/games/review.jsp?id=1638

As for games I "ran" from, I dunno. Maybe sonic3? That was crap... I liked Sonic2 better. lol!

50 cent, Bulletproof.
Sadly, it's the only game with multiple copies available at the local Video Easy, all but one are usually taken.

Plus, Need for speed: Tokyo Drift, or whatever on Earth they named it. Or most of these 'street' focussed racing games.

Now that I think about it... there are a whole hoard of games that somehow manage to repel me. Even titles I've never heard of. :c

.....
Portable Ops and Valkyrie Profile. I used to also have Medievil, but the disc broke.

I'm planning on getting quite a few upcoming PSP titles though. (Silent Hill, Oblivion, Castlevania, and Final Fantasy Tactics)

I don't mean to get too off-topic, but is it common for PSP discs to break? I've seen them, and they look sturdy enough, but still look pretty breakable... or at least easy to get specks of dirt and crap stuck in.

I take pretty damn good care of my UMD's though I have bought a used game where the plastic casing was open but it was fixed with some simple scotch tape.
