I still have to go with Azure Dreams, an old PS1 game. It was never really popular, but I wasted hundreds of hours of my life on that game. I still pull it out and play it sometimes, and it's still fun.

Oh my god, I love Azure Dreams!!!
I remember spending an utterly ridiculous number of hours playing that game! Hell, I almost managed to get one of every monster, except those damned Picket (was that what they were called? The little thieving ones) eggs always eluded me >_<

Azure Dreams was awesome =3
I didn't have the PS1 version, but the old GB one =) (Though nobody likely knows it ;^^)

It's pratically the same however, I seriously played it to death xP.
Before you insult someone you should walk a mile in their shoes.

That way when you do, you are a mile away and have their shoes.

Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, and 3. People seem to think they're all about the graphics. They're probably right, but I have some fond childhood memories and when I recently played through them again on the GBA they were just as good. Almost.

I am a huge fan of the DQ series (used to be known as Dragon Warrior in the US) and man are the early games the greatest. I find it a shame that they really didn't catch on in the US as well as FF did, seeing as how DQ/DW is way better than the FF franchise.

For me it's Headhunter for the PS2. The game was a beautiful piece by Sega that was originally gonna be released on the Dreamcast was captivating and just damn interesting. I really wish the motorcycle bits controlled a whole lot better. Nevertheless, the driving around was fretty pun.

Too bad the sequel wasn't that good. It was kinda boring.

You are my new favourite person. Ever.

Seriously though, Suikoden 2 and Star Oceon 2 both rank in my top 5 all time favourite games ^_^

Suikoden 2 was my first RPG I've ever played. I had the Japanese version, so I never really understood it. It was also the reason why tonfas are my favourite weapons.

That's weird, most people consider Suikoden II to be the best of the series. Most of the people I know have played it and liked it. Many even consider it the best RPG on the original playstation.

I loved God Hand for the PS2. It came out at about the same time as Okami and made by Clover as well. I don't think it was very well received and my roommates hated it, but I thought it was the greatest thing i've ever played.

Oh how I like some many things 'no one else likes...'
Bushido Blade 2
Bloody Roar
Kuon
Siren (The second wasn't released to america because no one liked the first-THE SHAME!!)

I also love cult classics before they were popular :P

I liked it but it was just too damn hard. I don't think I made it past the 5th or 6th mission, even with a walkthrough. I had to give up. :[

Hahah, my friend and I had way too much fun with Bushido Blade just ramming into each other and watching the fighters fall down. :x

I loved Bloody Roar, too. I always used the weird cross dressing fox guy. Lol.

Oooo and Rule Of Rose too! Everyone hates it-apparently you have to THINK too hard to figure out the story line, which is obscure anyway.

Oh yea and ObsCure too. It gets terrible reviews T_T

I liked Beyond Good and Evil too, I only played ICO briefly but I adored it. My all time favorite games are all ones that nobody likes or nobody's heard of, The first two Oddworld games, Lighthouse (excellent creepy atmosphere!) and Eternal Darkness (one of a few truly scary horror games,) Treasures of the Deep (not really all that creative but a fun time-waster,) and Sky Oddysey (my dad got me addicted to this one)

Oh, just remembered another unloved favourite of mine; Sky Gunner, I mean who doesn't love shooting down planes flown by 2 feet tall cute lil' minions of evil?

Also just started playing Beyond Good and Evil again, I can't believe I managed to forget how absolutely awesome it was

Alien Hominid, out for most systems. Has anyone heard of this?

Marathon. An FPS classic totally overshadowd by Doom even though it is better in every single way(literally).
