Mac user? Need some good games to play? Don't know where to turn?

Just tell me what genre you're looking for, and I'll tell you about some great games in that genre--for Mac!

For the best RPGs there's Spiderweb Software. My favorite is Geneforge 2, though you might wish to try 3 or 4 first. The Avernum series is also good.

For strategy, here's two games I'd recommend:

Castles: Siege and Conquest. This is abandonware, and can probably be found at Macintosh Garden. Be warned-- I have been having some problems with saving/loading. I've sent an email.

Also, the game Chicago 1930 (I think also Freeverse) looks pretty good. Ditto RTT.

Finally, the best TBS out there is The Battle for Wesnoth. [wesnoth.org]
