And now that I know who did the song, I can go searching for the album. Anyway, it's from Men At Work- "Land Down Under" . :)

I have the original vinyl LP still... Actually, I wanted it for the other big hit they had on that (at least here in Oz), which was "Who could it be now?". Love that, great sax on that track too (in my memory of it...).
Heh, I remember getting in trouble for singing that to myself in school. :)

Looking again at that filmclip after all these years I'm surprised at that guy's resemblance to Sting! He's like a slightly thicker-set, googly-eyed version of him, with the same voice and singing style (both white reggae style anyway), only a bit deeper.
That's freaky.

Man, I HATED Men At Work when they were at their peak, but I really like their music now. It's funny how time alters your views. Oh, and their singer (I don't remember his name) was on a 'Scrubs' episode which was excellent.

Doesn't everyone in Australia have that?
They give it to you when you get off the plane, right?

Actually, most people would have the 1984 reissue ;)
"the Land Down Under" only really became mega popular with the America's cup victory.
