im trying to download new fonts for my comics. But how do i get them to the right place so i can use them with PS?

help please!

If you use Windows then just copy and paste them into the "font" folder.
You can find that in your control panel, but the full file path is usually C:\WINDOWS\Fonts.
They should be available for every program you use.

I don't know about MACs or Linux sorry... Well, it's been a while since I worked with MACS but they're even simpler than Windows so you should be able to find were the fonts go easily enough. The help system is pretty good on the MAC too. (Window's help is a piece of crap).

im saving it into the fonts folder but its not showing up.

Well that's the only way to do it I'm afraid...
Have your tried restarting Photoshop and also restarting your computer?

Go into your Font Folder, and find install fonts in toolbar.

thats the problem, i get them, download them put them into the font folder, but thye dont show up there.

Hmm?

Reinstalling Photoshop might be an extreme measure, but it'll probably work if restarting everything doesn't help.

Have you loaded up MS word or any other programs that use fonts and had a look if you can find the new fonts in them?
