I hate to say this, but the first web comic I read was a sprite comic. It was called Bob and George. I liked it up until it got way to out of hand and the stories started to not make any sense. Ctrl+Alt+Delete was the first web comic that I kept reading. I would have to say that CAD lead me to want to make my own webcomic and learn more about others.

That would be Red Moon (http://www.drunkduck.com/Red_Moon/ ) which is hosted right here on DD; a comic I am still an active reader of. I was also lucky enough to be assigned it for my first comic remix.

Toothpastefordinner. It's what started me on single panel comics.

The first "real" storyline webcomic I ever read was Sam and Fuzzy. http://www.samandfuzzy.com/ I fell in love with the artwork and the story just got me hooked.

I hate to say this, but the first web comic I read was a sprite comic. It was called Bob and George.

Me too, man.
I later figured out how repetitious and bland the jokes were and stopped reading it.
After that I started reading Dr. McNinja, and Girly.
Both of those I don't read any more either. Not because they are bad, but because Dr. McNinja didn't click for me, and I always felt a litte uncomfortable reading Girly.
Somewhere along the line I stared reading VG Cats, which I still read, and F@NB0Y$.

Now I also read Cyanide and Happiness, Rob and Elliot, a bunch of DD comics, and a few other I check up on occasionally.

Don't read Ra pe.

Queen of Wands.

And considering I met my husband on the forum community that used to host that comic's forum, I really have it to thank for my current life. :D

Rrrrrrgh! I can't remember its name!!

All I remember is that it had to do with this group of elves, with one of them being part-troll or something, and the adventures they had. I think the elf traveled through time one or twice.. Argh, it's gotten so fuzzy over time.

Hmm...the earliest on I remember reading...is...

http://darkbolt.com/

It isn't REALLY good....it's just ok...but I remember reading over 200+ pages of this thing in one sitting. I guess I secretly adored it when I was little. XD I don't keep up with it any more...maybe one day I start reading it again. <3

Well, I haven't really checked out any DD comics. But my first EVER webcomic I read would be VGCats, funny thing is, That was last year.

Then I started reading Sam and Fuzzy, then Penny Arcade, and then Welcome to Pixelton.

And I still regularly read those ^^

The first I ever read must have been Penny Arcade. I still like it, but there are loads that are better.

I'd say the first webcomic I read was "Sheldon" (sheldoncomics.com), though it started out as a newspaper comic and became exclusively web-based a couple years ago.

The first real webcomic I read (that's always been a webcomic) would be Shortpacked!.

The oldest one I can remember is Sinfest. I read it sporadicaly, catching up every two or three months :)

The second one I remember had a main character called Spooner and it was about relationship... and then there were two more; Clouds Mystery Hour (which was a totally weird photocomic using action figures and toys from manga & anime, and of course final fantasy) and something about a chatroom for elf roleplayers, don't remember the title though (I do remember that it started as a sprite comic to evolve into a drawn one)...

after these, nothing for a long time, until I have discovered a bizarre one panel strip called wulffmorgenthaler (might not be very worksafe due to messed up humor) :)

And then others followed...

But yeah, Sinfest was first :)

That would be simple... Nighthawk41's megaman comic in Zeldapower at the time. that got me started on sprite comics.

8-bit Theater for me. After that came Megatokyo which is what inspired me to do the webcomic thing.

I think on the Duck the first comic I read was the late and great Bad Blood.
