My first concert (off topic) was when Pizza Hut sponsored the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to play their Comin' Out of Their Shells tour.
(i was nine. i still have the tape.)
I'll remember to read more carefully when i post these. I apologize. I didn't see music specifically in the Media Tagline, but should have assumed.

If we're talking CD's - then that would be the Prodigy's "Fat of the Land" (before that, I bought my dad "Superunknown" by Soundgarden, so it doesn't count as mine). If we're talking MC's, it's the Prodigy's "Music for the Jilted Generation".

I remember that cassette of Billy Idol: Rebel Yell. Don't really like many of his songs but "Rebel Yell" really gives you ENERGY

I've had a lot of albums for a while, but had never bought any of them on my own. I think the first actual CD I went out and bought was.. I think the Pixies; Wave of Mutilation.

I'm sure I owned tapes before this, but I only remember my first CD - "Fore!" by Huey Lewis and the News. That had to be around '88 or '89. I think the CD is still somewhere in my room.

Queen: Greatest hits
Well... I'd actually say Britteny Spears' first album was the first one I ever had... Followed by Avril Lavign... But no one cares about them. They're bitches.
Queen is where it's at :D

Firstly, cred to Jebus. Horns for vinyl.
Mine. Jim Croce: Greatest Hits. Because you don't mess around with Jim lest you be a pool shootin' country boy out of South Alabama named Willy McCoy but at home they call you Slim.

As stated by little Susan Meyer, Age Seven
"In the end there shall come a dark time, where the true followers of Great Cthulhu will grow massive in their numbers. The moon will flow with bile, the sun will burn black, and the rivers shall flow with the blood of the non-believers..."

Agreed! My mom had a huge collection of MC's, so I was volens nolens exposed to Queen's greatness all througout my early teens ;) Helped me with my English, too. I'd often listen with my headphones on and translate the lyrics. Quite the challenge, actually, conthidering hith thlight thpeech impediment ;)

I think it was Forty Funky Hits, which were very poppy classics from the 50s and 60s.
