I'm going to have to go with World of Quest.

Also, PVP.

Would have to be Digger over at Graphic Smash.

Sadly, the archives are behind a subscription wall but - if you do read the story through - you very quickly develop a real feeling for the characters.

Misfile .

Mostly because it's still one of the smartest comics I have ever read, and the characters are some of the best I've seen. One of my favorite comics period.

Misfile .
Man, I am SO behind on Misfile right now.... It's been so long since I've read it. :P

I'd have to go with No Rest for the Wicked. I am such a fantard for that comic. :P Other ones I love are Bleedman's comics (especially Grim Tales), Crowfeathers, Saturnalia, The Way to Your Heart, Catena Manor, Lackadaisy, MegaTokyo (before it got all drama-llama), Vampirates!, Rooster Teeth and Kagerou. I'm sure there are others....

(I thought I had already posted here? Maybe not.)

You should get back into it. In my opinion it's been getting better and better. I can't wait to see where the plot goes from here.

UNA Frontiers by Monique McNaughton!

It's such a cool story. A great alternative-history/future-prediction/post-apocalypse setup. Her style is cool because it reminds me of my old fave phantom comics and Modesty Blaise, maybe even Commando. Those were the only real comics I read as a kid and it's marvellous to see the etyle used so well! The story and the writing are also a treat, they show a strong personality, wry humour, experience, and maturity. In UNAF she's created a well realised, well researched world, with rounded, interesting characters. It's one of the best story comics on the net.

I think of Monique like a younger, comicing version of Anne McCaffery.

Mine is Least I Could Do.

There are so many reasons to be offended and angry by the comic.
But it's so well written and draw...and funny.
So...you either grow a sense of humor, or hate it.

That's a hard question. Current favourite is Rice Boy , though. Surrealistic, whimsy, a little out there, and absolutely captivating.
The Continued Misadventures of Bonebird - a poor bird's quest for the ever-elusive and delicious apples.

Well, like Titan mentioned Phil Foglio's Girl Genius. Stellar stuff, but I've been a fan of Foglio's since the mid '80's.
Runner up would have to be Wondermark by David Malki!, alhtough it's occassionally a little profane, it has sort of a Far Side sense of humor while using archaic memes.

Right now, my favorites are Rice Boy, LFG, and Order of the Stick.

Man, I remember some of those. I'll have to add them to my new list since my old compy broke down and the original list was lost.

One non-DD webcomic that I like right now is the Errant Story http://www.errantstory.com/. :)

I love NC (Neglected Characters), they were the first web comics I've ever read. Even though some people would say the spriting is bad, I'd say that's part of the reason I like it. Overall it's funny and family friendly. Here's a link to the website: http://www.smbhq.com/nc/

Since I don't know how to make this a hyperlink just cut and paste it onto your web adress bar.

Lovely art.

Sublime dialogue.

Has a cinematic flow to it.

Intriguing story.

And the only time I've seen a Scottish dialect done so damn well in text form.
