I know a lot of comics on here are colored digitally. However, I was just curious, what's your favorite traditional coloring method? Mine are Chalks/charcoal and colored pencils

Even though I'm no good at it myself, I'm very partial to watercolours. They have a whimsical gracefulness to them.

There was a brief time where I was using chalk and oil pastels.
Of course, I was never much of a colorist even digitally (but I've gotten much better). I like the look of using a bamboo brush and India ink for drawing lines, and if I decide to switch back to traditional drawing for a project, I'll likely use that technique for it.

I like using pens and digital colouring for my comics and illustrations, but I also enjoy using ink and brush for large scale spur-of-the-moment drawings, oil pastels when I draw animals with fur, and coloured pencils when I draw portraits. I like most mediums; it all depends on how I choose to use it. For example, I'm not so keen on (or good at) painting, unless I use it in an abstract way such as throwing it onto the paper lol.

The thing you really have to remember is that for most traditional work, there is no such thing as "colouring". The whole process is integrated.
That being said, I have always preferred using traditional block printing methods and stencils and spray paint whenever possible.

India ink, wether with a brush or nib pen(is it how it's called?). I think it's relaxing and really good to practice steadiness and helping getting clear lines.

Traditional-mediums wise, I really just stick with the basic pencil and paper. Although I'm quite envious of those who have skills with paints, their patience exceeds mine by a large margin.

I would love to be good with watercolors so that would be my favorite.
Of course I'm not so I stick to the good ol' pencil in my monochrome world.
