It's hands down my favorite webcomic.

Holy Crap!

That is amazing and so profound.

I would have never came across that comic.
Thank you Terminal.

You might have a smaller monitor, or just low tolerance for the size and font style...?

I have a 19" widescreen which I feel is big enough but I'm used to BOLD ALL CAPS writing so yeah I'm a little biased. Your comic Pinky has really tiny font too but thankfully there's not much dialog (by that I mean you keep things to one or two sentences per word balloon) and your art and direction speaks louder than the text. Melaines mostly relies on the terrific writing... but I can never read it without squinting or using the Opera browser to zoom in on the picture.

Personally, this comic has the right sized font compared to art ratio. Mlai's FIGHT is another good example in my opinion.

heh, actually now that I think on it: big monitors are the trouble. Heh! Of course!
I'm a moron Doh X(

Yeah, larger monitors == capable of much larger resolutions ==everything's smaller because it has more area to fit in. :(

So, out of curiosity, what's your screen res?
I have two normal 19 inchers myself (not wide-screen), both on 1280x1024. That does make a lot of stuff pretty teeny, but nothing compared to some of the higher res's out there! :)
Although, I've got a smaller 17 inch monitor as well and of course at 1280x1024 things are a LOT teenier.

Anyway, yeah, those are both great comics ^_^

1280x800 but whenever I read webcomics I usually change it to 800x600 since most people never have their pages wider than 700 pixels.

WOW O_O
That'd make things massive man... Especially with a 19 inch wide screen.
wow.

Ah. I've hijacked this thread...

Ok then. Rocketship A GoGo is another highly addictive and wonderfully cool DD comic ^_^

My monitor res is 1024 x 768. It can be higher, but I don't like the tiny size of everything, even if it is sharp.

My co-artist is worse. He makes his comics pages with 800 x 600 res monitors in mind. He thinks a page of 500 x 780 size is a good size. What are we drawing? Bazooka gum wrapper comics? Man, he just wouldn't give in. I finally told him that I don't give a **** about ppl who still use 800 x 600 as their max screen resolution; those ppl should get rid of their EGA monitors.

Now I use page size 780 x 1050 and he uses 718 x 1077.

Ha! Well I've always stuck to the 800x600 thing... My pages are a standard (for me) 666x799. Pretty teeny eh? ^_^
Mainly, with all the complex colour it means the file sizes of pages aren't too massive with the compression not harming the artwork too much. -I've always got slower downloads in mind.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaan, I am never on any of these lists. T_T

Anyway, five comics I love are The Errant Apprentice , Alien Circus , Lancaster: The Ghost Detective , One Question and Culture Shock . I actually am in pretty close contact with folks behind each comic, so maybe I am just biased?

You have your own website which I normally go to for updates. I didn't even know you hosted your comics on DD until I clicked on your profile.

But, if BBoBB was an ongoing series I'd instantly list it... as well as have a shrine dedicated to the characters or something.

Yeah you're just like my co-artist. Even worse, your artwork is detailed and takes days and logically and aesthetically should be displayed at a larger size.

It's 2007. Everybody views at greater than 800x600. Everyone I know at work uses a screen res much higher than mine (we use the same monitors). Everybody has broadband or at least 56k.

The difference in load time between a 150k jpg and a 350k jpg is a blink. But the difference in page art quality and impact for a graphic novel account is HUGE. Well worth the extra blink.

I really can't wait for the day someone says "Mercs"

I love that Drunkduck got me first real fans since most everyone else who read it all knew me beforehand so I got no honest people who liked the comic but peple who liked or disliked me. ^__^ I will always remember DD fondly for that after we die in the post apocalyptic world brought on by a defunct special effect in a Micheal Bay movie.

Mine is quite a toss-up:

Purgatory Tower and Star Crossed Destiny are liquid awesomeness!
Super Temps and The Superfogeys are superhero parodies deluxe.
Craving Control is addictive, when it updates.
Nadya , Wolf and Gott Gauss are mysterious and intriguing.
The Devon Legacy Prologue is a great mix of sci-fi and superhero!

Gunnerkrigg Court was the first DD comic I read, and it remains a very strong favourite. It's just so... complex and beariful and all-around neat.

My list of favourites is MUCH too long to post here, though.
The Continued Misadventures of Bonebird - a poor bird's quest for the ever-elusive and delicious apples.

Want is your favorite comic on Drunk Duck? My favorite comic on Drunk Duck is the Super Mario Super comic. It's a great comic! Oh.. and don't put in your own comic. Even a comic you work on.

Eliminating comics I assist or publish...I would say Purgatory Tower. It's just good.

I feel so warm at heart people enjoy Wolf as much as I do :)

I have way too many favourites to list just one, but I have to mention:

Changing Worlds,
The Realms of Aegis,
Purgatory Tower,
A Bit Cheesy
No Need for Bushido

I always hop to it when they update.

But then there's many more! I never fave anything I am not happy to see an update of. That's why I always comment on them when they do!
