Man, sorry for posting yet another question thread, but this has been on my mind lately

-I watch all my TV online these days, and lately I've been watching some good stuff, but I'm always on the lookout for more...
Currently may faves are mostly on ABC iview [abc.net.au] (Aussie government TV, don't know if Americans can watch it...?).
My faves are:

-Stoked
It's a stupid cartoon about kids who surf and work at a resort during their summer holidays... but it's all done in such pretty vector art and for some reason I'm addicted to it. I missed so many episodes so i had to get them off Youtube, but then they deleted them all from there so now I have to use Veoh. :(

-Pure Pwnage
This is a comedy about a loser who's the best gamer ever but sucks at real life. his brother is a documentary filmmaker who's making a TV show about him. I thought it was lame to start with, but it just gets funnier and funnier.

-IT crowd (4th series)
This comedy show is gold with a killer themetune. I'm sure everyone knows this one. I missed all the earlier series, so I'll have to get them on DVD or something.

------------------------

Anyone have any recommendations? Other faves? Good streaming sites available to al? (not like shitty American only HULU >:[

Yes! I can't believe someone else here watches that show! :)

I love this show as well, but unfortunately it only airs in Canada. Do they show it over and Australia as well though?! I have to go delve into the internets to go find them.

Other than that, I just catch episodes of Dexter all of the time. The writing is so good I'll even go back and rewatch some of the old series. Especially season 1. Have to admit though, I always come into the beginning of a season expecting very little. But then they throw in a crazy, unexpected hook that just keeps me watching.

I mostly watch the ABC channels on TV, especially now that Channel 10 has been hijacked with the Commonwealth Games. Lately I've been into the Total Drama series, Dex Hamilton and Spliced.

I think I'm watching actual TV just because in my country there are endless "Simpsons" repetitions and even with Cable TV, I still would have to wait until November to get most of the recent seasons of the TV shows that I'm trying to follow right now. Other than that, my TV's only use is either watch DVD's or play videogames.

I really don't have a great taste on TV but I've been enjoying this ones pretty much:

-The Big Bang Theory: It isn't that clever, it isn't that original, it isn't that funny, it isn't even that geeky... maybe I'm watching just because Kaley Cuoco is hot as hell... point is, I'm aware of it's weaknesses but still enjoy the damn show...

-Two and a Half Men: Again, isn't even THAT funny... but I guess is cathartic (if kinda twisted) to see a show so proud of it's own misogyny (real or perceived)...

-Dexter: Loved from episode one. Yeah, Season 1 was the best, but still I found the show highly entertaining, specially with last season's villain (John Lithgow), and have to admit, last season's finale was awesome.

-Doctor Who: Pretty much trying to catch up with the new series, and it's impossible to watch it where I live... so... online that is...

Currently watching Apple Daily a.k.a. Apple Action News. It's basically news with funny 3D animation. Unfortunately, not all are subbed in English.

Here are some of the pretty good ones.

On the topic of iPhones:

When I watch TV I go over to IFC and wait for Monty Python's Flying Circus to go on.

Although I've also been watching 2000's Scooby Doo too.
Not Mystery Incorporated-that one sucks-it's been all What's New Scooby Doo? for me.

Oh yeah. I watch MAD TV. It's ten times funnier than I thought it would be. And Regular Show sucks. BALLLSSSSS.
Did you know Cartoon Network can say "balls" whenever they want to? Even in kids shows....
...It's funny to me.

And occasionally I get to see some of my brother's retarded shows like...
iCarly
Suite Life on Deck
I'm in the Band
Victorious

...they're worse than anything on nowadays.

I never watch "real" TV anymore. It's always either the DVD sets or whatever's online. The only downside to this is that I'm always way behind in the shows. The upsides being that I am not a slave to show run times and don't have to deal with commercials.

My show obsessions are the Tudors, Mad Men, Coupling, House -currently season 5- (though sadly I'm getting more and more annoyed with the the longer it goes on...)

While drawing I watch a lot of Netflix instant-thingie-majig. So there's a lot of Joss Whedon. Apparently Netflix LOVES Joss Whedon. So there's a lot of Buffy, Angel (which I'm trying to force myself to watch... So I can watch Buffy and Angel in order, you know?), Dollhouse and Firefly. I've also been watching a lot of Bones and Lie to Me and Psych.

Reading this thread, I realized that most of the shows I love are finished or ruined. Some, like X-Files, are both finished and ruined. Flight of the Conchords is over. The Simpsons is just going through the motions.

But I only recently found It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I really enjoy it.

Breaking Bad is also a fun one. The story has stayed interesting for me, and it's fun to see how good an actor Brian Cranston from Malcom in the Middle really is.

Excellent! Pass it on. too many shows I start liking don't get renewed because no one's heard of them. ** I love the idea that there's a family emergency because Grandma (Cloris Leachman) is having a lucid moment **

My two current favourites are a mixed bag. One new, the other very old; one surreal and quirky, the other very firmly based in the real world.

Twin Peaks is currently being shown again on one of the satellite channels. I haven't seen that since it was first aired way back when, and I'm amazed at how well it's stood the test of time. It's every bit as surreal and off-the-wall as you'd expect from David Lynch, but I'd forgotten just how much mischievous humour it mixes in with its tragedy. A real gem!

Cop shows don't usually hold much interest for me but I'm loving Southlands. It has a strong ensemble cast and crisp writing, but what makes it stand out from the pack is the camera work and direction. It almost feels as if you're watching a reality show, following real officers around on their day-to-day patrols. Great stuff!

It's usually box sets for me, just finished House season six and supernatural season five.

Walking dead is the best thing on at the moment.

Tried Haven and that was terrible.
New comic alert. [..]

I'm trying to catch up with back seasons of FRINGE, on a friend's rec. I'm on season 2, about midway, and last night is when the hook sank.

Do you non-USA-ers have anything akin to Netflix? It's redefined TV for me more than cable ever did.

I've been catching up on the show Dexter. Love it. very witty dialouge, and some intense scenes. Plus, I love the opening sequence... excellent camera work.

I also follow the show Chuck. Love everything about it. It's funny, and has a good amount of action and thrills. But, I'm a sucker for a good action/comedy.
