Well that sucks. Another luminary in the animation world has left us. At least he made it to a ripe old age.

Aw, hell....Gary Gygax, and how Ollie? F**k. That just made my day worse.
I had the opportunity to interview Ken Southworth in his Anaheim home back in 1999. I don't think he was one of the Nine Old Men, but he was a great man to talk to. After the interview, I sent him a thank-you note with doodles all over it, and he sent me back a drawing of Scooby-Doo. I didn't realize he had died of a stroke last year until I looked him up just now. ...Sad. :(
Now it'll REALLY be an end of an era when Don Bluth and Glen Keane go. When those two guys go, it will be a sad day indeed.
