It's a futuristic comic with some twists....

it is a nice change to take on someone else'e design sometimes. even if it's somethin ya wouldnt typically do, it suprises you sometimes. great job! i was thinking of catching up with some of yer work . you have a nice style.

It would be neat if the people who posted here did a bit of art for the person above them. That said if you are just jonesing to do fanart yourself totally use my stuff.

Someone commented on some of my old material of fan art from over a year ago, stuff I usually don't want to show much to anyone, and said it was pretty neat. This kinda inspired me to show off some more old material and have a good laugh, and this thread too helped want me to keep the idea going (of posting some/creating some).

I agree with Mitaukano; let's get a 'Draw your version of the previous poster's comic character' or something. ^^ Might be a lot of good fun, and maybe even inspiring. Who knows?

Could be a bit of fun, I think. Although it would utterly blow for the people who fail to get their pic. It's an issue with the DD Secret Santa thing, probably the closest thing I could compare to this.

Either that, or envy from one another. In the sense that someone might get jealous from having a better artist do an interpretation of another. But I doubt that, as long as people work it out together, I figure. ^^

Sounds cool but if there's more than 1 artists who happen to submit the same fanart on the last commenter, it would be difficult for the next artist to choose between the two last submitters.

I think it would better to keep a list of requesters and allow others to choose. The ones who submitted will appear in the next line of list and the ones who had received their fanart will be removed from the list until they submit another fanart. I think this would be a better decision so that no one gets left out.

Let's see, if you want a run down on the characters in the link, here goes.

Lexus: The guy with the blonde hair is the young scholar of the great. Naive and harmless by nature, but very book smart. Has a crush on the red-hair gal in the pix. Her name is Jahzarah.

Jahzarah belongs to a remote tribe of folks that honor a allegience with a mysterious nation that has long since pasted away. Her people believe they will return and take their place among the peoples of their world. She is a apprentice historian.

The long-haired blonde gal is Allyn. She is the daughter of the Chieftain of forest dwellers. She is a capable huntress and forester. Allyn is gentle hearted, but passionate about her people, their ways and the forest they live in. She is soul-mate to the dark haired man.

He would be Zair. Displaced from his native land and outlawed by the ruling Lord he once served. He was Captain of the guard and lost that priviledge when he rebelled against his Lord's command.

Droll enough? Probably, but there you go.
