Everybody knows that Ash Williams is the main hero of the franchise. He has been taking on monsters, demons, even zombies. How did Ash lose his hand? How did Ash use a chainsaw as a weapon to replace his hand? And how did Ash travel back in time to stop the army of darkness?
Legacyhero and i are doing a Kid Intense/Hero Force crosover which will be a blast. Also, we are teaming up for a Kid Intense movie. Tell me what you think of the crossover and the movie we are teaming up.

Watch the movies. Or just watch Army of Darkness, it answers all of your questions at the very beginning.

Evil Dead 2 answers all of that.

Actually, Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn is really a remake of the original movie, The Evil Dead. Army Of Darkness is a sequal to Evil Dead 2.

The only main difference between the two Evil Dead movies is the entire room laughs at him at one point in the second.
But yeah, the movie answers it.
And if you don't feel like watching it, he chops it off in a fit of insanity when demons infect it. As for the saw replacing his hand, it's actually impossible to do that. So, we just say it's Bruce Campbell, and there's no explanation needed. Plus he makes a new hand (Reminds me of auto-mail) later. And he travels back in time because the evil sucks him back. At any rate, all of that gets explained in the beginning of Army of Darkness, not Evil Dead.
Boss: ruining spoilers since...Wait, he asked, I didn't ruin anything for him.

Thats half true. Evil Dead 2 is a remake/sequel. The last scene in Evil Dead happens less than midway through Evil Dead 2. It's a sequel with an alternate beginning.
