Just like the title asks.
This morning I had an dream about an supernatural/zombie shooter for the ps3 that also had online mulitiplayer. It was in the same vein of silent hill. so this could had been easily a new silent hill game.
Anyway, in this game if you choose multiplayer you could actually choose from having an team of monsters or playing the human fraction.
and in the multiplayer version, you could customize your own character and play as that. But in the main story mode, you choose from those three characters: A female shooter, a male shooter, and a priest.
depending on who you choose, the main story would be experienced differently each time. If you played the priest, you had those exorcising abilities that not only worked on ghosts, but on the monsters/zombies for some reason. the effects would vary, depending on what/who you were exorcising. The zombies would simply die by exorcising, since how the zombies weren't the disease ridden kind.. they were the kind that had been brought to life by evil magic. The monsters would be stunned for a few seconds, so you had to work quickly to blow their heads off afterward. The ghosts would just vanish.
the female and male shooters just had holy water and ammo for their guns.
In the mulitiplayer, you could choose from premade levels or actually create your own levels for your friends to play in. kind of in the same vein of little big planet, only more 3d and more gory.
in some ways I think this would actually make for a very interesting game.
going away - The Game Room
Ever had a dream about an awesome game that didn't exist?

No, also dreaming about games sounds kind of sad.
Unfortunately, I don't have any control over my dreams. Such as a dream about a platformer where you played a popular Drunkduck character, and your mission was to save other Drunkduck characters by delving into their worlds and freeing them (afterwards you would be able to use them and their abilities)...

You know Aurora... Your dream sounds awfully like the game Left4Dead. Not 100% But very close.
It's a game where you pick one out of 4 characters(no priests though) And then the character that you choose and the 3 others (who are either AI in single player or other guys in multi) Travel through a huge city full of zombies. Zombies that run. There's a storyline that you go through as you make your way through the city. An AI called the director monitors the game process and changes each level by adding more zombies, triggering different events and tries to make the game challenging although not impossible. So if you and your team is owning the game the director will up the challenge. I thought that was a neat feature.
Here read about it if you want.
Oh. It's not available for PS3. Well. It's pretty close anyways.

There's also a online cooperative zombie-killing game, where other players get to play as the boss monsters that hunt your human protagonist player group. Not sure if it's the same game as above.
I don't dream about games that don't exist, but I did dream about TV shows that don't exist, and I wake running to the VCR to try to set up the timer-record, then realize after a while that I'm trying to timer-record a program that doesn't exist.
*cue Twilight Zone music.

that's happened to me too... ^^;; I'd wake up, realize it was only a dream.. and then I would feel a little bit sad, because then I'd be wishing that I could watch it again later on that night.
other times I'm happy that it didn't exist at all... because needless to say some of the TV shows in my dreams are often the kind that didn't exist yet for a reason.

It sound's like the same game. It features boss zombies that's harder to kill then the normal ones that come in swarms that players can take control of in versus mode.
You know the intro video is bad ass. Check it out .
Listen to me. It sounds like I'm promoting this game and I haven't even played it.
Those were my two cents.
