When I saw Return of the King in theatres, I cried from an hour in all the way to the end, getting worse and worse and worse until the end. I CRY CONSTANTLY.

I swear I almost cried the first time I read Chrno Crusade vol. 5. >_>'' Except I was in Borders with my best friend and about 500 random people for the out-coming of the new Harry Potter book.... /swt (I got dragged along....)

Yeah, the death of one of the characters in Death Note really got me. It turned the whole story around. I really like the comic, and I'm very impressed at the author's ability to make us care about a character that much.

Also the movie a Prarie Home Companion really got to me for some reason...

Yeah, it's an awesome series of books! I really enjoyed Death Note.

No, they ended it. (I think...) Well, in Japan, that is. I think they're still translating the English, but I'm not sure.

There was this short film submitted to this year's Filmed by Bike Festival from France. It was called "Missing," it was about a boy who's bike got stolen. I still tear up every time I see it, especially at the happy ending. I'm such a wuss.

The episode of Berserk when birdface rapes Caska while the demons are holding Guts down, making him watch. That was pretty er... intense? You know, it was sorta ironic I guess considering the way Griffith first met Caska was by saving her from some rapist when she was like 11, and now however many years later he ends up raping her himself.. Pretty disturbing really.

Another is in Akira when Tetsuo is mutating into that giant baby-ish thing and he grabs his girlfriend as he's calling for help and because he couldnt control his body, he pulls her in and squashes her. That was pretty sad I guess.

Another is when I was a damned Inuyasha fan (manga not anime..) The scene when Inuyasha shoves Kagome down the well after the fight with his brother because he felt it wasnt safe to be with him anymore. I cant stand Inuyasha now because it's to damned long, but this part was early in the story.

I don't know, theres probably more, it doesn't matter.

I once cried when I was watching Pokémon (The bit when he lost in the first season. It still pulls a few heart strings when I think about it. Please note: I am a Pokémon fan boy.

No one laugh at that. Back when I still watched Pokemon, Butterfree leaving was the saddest thing ever for me.

I think I cried when Digimon ended...back in 2003. Yeah, they still have seasons 3-5, but those aren't that good. 3 is pretty good, but the first two had this great quality to them that I loved as a kid. I was really upset when they ended.

Yeah, me too. The ending for the first one especially. I actually had to fight back tears.

Lately, the last episode for Azumanga Daioh tugged at my heartstrings. Probably because of the whole "end-of-high-school" thing.

Or because Chiyo-chan was bawling her eyes out.

Ever cried or felt overly emtional over a stupid........scene in a book, manga or movie?

Books rarely evoke a strong emotional response for me. I am VERY critical of literature and I think I overanalyze while reading. Movies and television shows though, can make me cry like a twelve year old with a skinned shin.

1. The Notebook. The book bored the bejezus out of me...but the movie. First, I am a HUGE James Garner fan and just knowing he was opposite of his "real" life wife got me bunches...Second, I went crazy a few years ago and the part at the end, where she doesn't recognize him...It was really hard for Ethan and I after what we had been though. It got us both. I saw the movie before him and when I MADE him watch it, afterward he was totally Prinvess Bride--Jesus, Lynn...what did you make me watch this for.

2. Thelma and Louise. Hey, I'm a woman, I can't explain it...But, I cry!

3. Armageddon. When Bruce rips that patch off and shoves it at Ben then gives his final words...Gulp...everytime, I know it's campy...but, everytime.

4. Gone With the Wind. (Too personal to explain, but I cry everytime.)

5. Terms of Endearment. (Mother/Daughter relationships...Plus, when I was a kid, my mom looked exactly like DWinger...I can't watch it without seeing her...thus, the tears.)

(I'll stop at 5...these are the first 5 that popped in my noggin...Although, there are MANY more and I also cry at commercials.)

Also: Songs. Dolly Pardon's voice can make me crrryyyy, so can Jimmy Durante's and it never fails, if I hear Willie's verson of "Always on my mind..." I'm a bucket of tears!

Grave of the Fireflies: The saddest Anime ever in my opinion. Should be watched with kleenex near by.

Cosmos Flower: Not Anime, but a Japanese movie that made me cry really hard. It's about Japanese girl who got in a car accident in South America where her father died and she contracted AIDs from a blood transfusion. She and her Mother move back to Japan and the kids at the high school she attends discriminate against her because she has AIDs.

Grave of the Fireflies? Hoo boy, I didn't cry but I was depressed for weeks!

I cry at everything -- but usually only when I'm alone. (Alone = immersed in the fictional world) Certain episodes of Detective Conan make me cry. Yesterday, I watched Stranger than Fiction for the second time, and I teared up. I cry over movies and books and TV. To be honest, I've actually teared up when drawing/planning my own comic. I'm just a big emotional idiot for all types of fictitious people...

But, I'm still a sight better than my sister, who weeps at OnStar commercials.

The Futurama episode where Fry finds his old dog's fossil and doesn't clone it because it turned out the dog had lived a long life even after fry had been sent to the future, then it turns out the dog waited for him at the same place everyday until it died...that shit was heartbreaking...

and in the last volume of Midori no Hibi (Midori's days in the US) i remember reading the last chapter or so all teary eyed...i dont remember exactly why though...

also the funeral scene in the movie The Man On The Moon gets me every time! it hit me especially hard the last time i saw it for some reason, it was the first time tears went down my face. it was weird cause i had already seen the movie once or twice before...

I watched a film, that was so moving, it brought even me to tears. Its called "BACKDOOR SLUTS 9" and it really makes me tear up and I always get emotional at the end of the film.

Happens to me all the time when watching movies. I'll get teary eyed or even actually start crying during emotional scenes or really epic beautiful scenes or sappy love scenes or or or...

I'm SUCH a girl sometimes, LOL

Man, I thought that Comfort Women youtube video would never be finished. I kept thinking "c'mon I can read faster than this!" But yeah, that's another reason why Japan deserved both nuclear bombs. One for each hole.
