Editing Comments?

Is there anyway to edit comments? If not can one be implemented?

I'm afraid I got a comment that accused me of plagiarism and I got a little "snippy" toward the end of it and I really didn't want to do that but the way the question was framed was abrasive in the first place.

Which reminds me, not bringing up my former cyber comic site, but is there an age restriction for membership here or is the "slave orifices" as El Cid called them, available for all young'uns to peruse?? It would also explain the total tactless nature of the "rip off" query!

However, my retaliatory rudeness was inexcusable...even if I am a jaded ole barnacled fleet sailor. I apologize to the poster and to anyone else who stumbles across it.

I'm afraid there is no way to edit comments on comics, you can edit posts in the forums just not in comments.

As for Age restrictions, I'm not really sure. There isn't any for signing up and creating an account on DD, but I haven't exactly tried to look at any "Restricted" comics to know if there is anything implamented...
of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most.

There's no age restriction for membership. However, (if I remember correctly) you can only view mature comics if your age is given as over 13, and you can only view adult comics if your age is given as over 18.

Just for the future, General Discussion really isn't the place for questions like this. Please take a moment to check out the sub-forum summaries!

Edit: Had a look at the comment you're referring to. Harkovast is definitely not a young 'un, and is generally pretty even-tempered so I can't imagine he could have said anything horribly offensive. But I could be wrong.

When the new Duck implements they claim we will be able to edit our comments.

Until then you basically have to report yourself to the admins and they will remove it.

Age works as this.

13 and under cannot look at M rated comics while signed in. They can sign out and look at them though so, yeah... it's pretty retarded like that :P

You can't view A rated comics while not signed in and over the age of 18.

Read "The Devon Legacy".

He does have a bit of a negative thing for adult content. I sense mixed feelings in that one though.

People have explained about the 18+ thing. Yes, "A" comics are age restricted.
You cannot edit your comments in the current system but when the site changes over (soon) you will be able to. Currently you report the comment, it gets deleted and you simply post again.

As helpful people here already explained :)
