This isn't just a story about an interracial (Asian/White and Black) couple and their mixed-race daughters. This is actually a story about God and His interactions with this family, even though they (and we) never see Him in person. Intrigued? I hope so. And I hope you'll find the characters as interesting as the story.

The Story: Six years after a bitter divorce, this family has decided to reunite and try to undo the damage of those terrible years. Some very unexpected things will happen along the way!

The Main Characters:

Sapphira Hu - 20 year old daughter of Doug Hu and Crystal Mills. Sister to Brielle Mills. Creative, resourceful and spunky (in a cute sort of way). After moving back from Canada with her father, she's pretty lonely readjusting to life in her hometown.

Brielle Mills - 16 year old daughter of Doug Hu and Crystal Mills. Sister to Sapphira Hu. Highly intelligent, very angry at her father and estranged from her sister. Brielle's main comfort comes from her best friendship with fellow teenager Carolyn Maye.

Carolyn Maye - 16 year old friend of Brielle Mills. Hispanic/White mix. Christian. Humble, helpful and thoughtful but somewhat naive. She has a tragic past.

Doug Hu - 37 year old father of Sapphira Hu and Brielle Mills. Chinese/White mix. Former husband of Crystal Mills. Software trainer. Mellow and intelligent.

Crystal Mills - 39 year old mother of Sapphira Hu and Brielle Mills. Former wife of Doug Hu. Black. Ambitious, romantic, co-owns a business. She also has a tragic past.
