Ah man I miss being there. Real life sucks compared to "sit around drawing all day with a bunch of cool people" land. I don't really have any more good photos. I should have taken more. I have some closeups of my booth, a commission of Zatanna I made for someone, and when J.J. Abrams (creator of Alias and Lost) casually walked by.

And darn! I forgot to draw the duck!

One of the great quotes from the weekend was hpkomic telling Zac that he's cute. It was right up there with the Hulk sticking his butt in my face or Gene Simmons showing me his fries.

The HBN guys were making me sweat in this one. The glare from their golden shine. Very cool seeing all the teenage girls who made DJ sign all sorts of body parts.




I have to admit that I didn't realize how many VERY talented people were on here. And (blushing) it wasn't until I got on this morning that I realized what comics some of you do. WOW!

Lots of fun...I hope it's not a solo occurance. And for any of you in the So. Cal area, there are some other cons that I'd recommend you trying. I'll be doing the Shriner's in a couple months and then San Diego. We shouldn't let the Drunk Duck momentum die...next time it should just be bigger!

I'm working on that. If you follow some of what I said you could too. How many of you are going to San Diego? What other cons are you considering this year? If you didn't listen to me then I'll be over and give you a big brother wedgie. I'll need Zac's help to pull but he's sure to join me.

I drew something to commemorate our experience *wink* yesterday.

Looks like it was a super blast. It would be great if drunkduck did wizard world chicago since alot of us seem to be from the midwest. Also what about the motorcity con here in Detroit its pretty big and i know charby's creator amelius is from here and im sure there are others. Why not blitz as many big cities as possible????

The big difficulty with anything that isn't on the west coast is that we have to mobilize and coordinate a lot of staff members to make it happen... I dunno what the plans are, though.

San...San Diego? Tell me more you beautiful people you. :)
