Ultimately, I went with a different image, but this is one of the sketches I created as a possible incentive to use on top comic voting sites:

"Hah! Foolish Leonardo! You should have known that your Mathematical Perspective would be no match for David-Bot!!"

That's a machine gun coming out of his mouth, by the way...

We were asked to do a comic featuring artists from the pasts as Superheroes for a school project. Here are my results.

While playing with different mediums/whatever. I scribbled this while sitting around a foreign town. Later I discovered that it's possible to scribble so much that the scribble becomes one with the paper/canvas...thing, and can never be erased without erasing the surface it was drawn on. Therefore, effectively eliminating my chances of successfully inking it.

Maybe, someday, I'll learn paints. .-.

Maxxy-poo Orlock.
FYI his fingers are supposed to be long....though in the bottom sketch I think I over-did it a bit...

This isn't very good compared to a bunch of sketches here but I done this of one of the characters to be in my webcomic...

No, I don't plan on doing my whole webcomic in chibis! Worry not. Please.

Here are two original drawings I did some time ago.
Pencil is my prefered medium.

You can definitely see that my normal art style is very different from that
of my comic. George the Dragon is drawn in a lot lighter mood than this
dragon here below.

Find out what George is up to:

I guess I'll donate some of my own sketches as well.

I should explain these. They're shown with their human, robot, and Combatrix forms. Basically they're androids who use "Mass Shunting" technology to transform and grow in size.

1. The Command Cruiser, piloted by Diwata/G-Commander
2. Titania, the group's "Tank"
3. Gunner Girl, Long Range Combat specialist who teleports in her weapons
4. Paladyne, Defense Specialist. Creates energy barriers to block attacks
5. Nano Nurse, Non combatant who uses nanobots to repair her teammates
6. Shadow Edge, High speed/Stealth combatant who can teleport
7. The Combatrix (known to everyone else as The Mighty Robot Girl). The five robots lend their powers to the combined form (magnified, of course). Controlled by Diwata from the Command Cruiser (she forms the head).

Still working on it though. I might try to find a few artists to collaborate on this one. :)

I hope I didn't kill anyone's connections...

Nice sketchies, Solil and Gavin! I didnt know if anyone posted here any more. I enjoyed your work!
I have been getting back into working in pencil again and I will be using it some in my webcomic I think.
Here are some things I've been doodling. It's fun to go back into the original pencil drawings after they are scanned with the Wacom and add highlights and stuff. I wish I had a bunch of extra time to really explore this- I enjoy working in this techniqe a lot. Like Contes and tone paper WITHOUT THE MESS!

You are all brilliant. I suck at making single drawing things (like sketches). Most of the sketches I do are made during class. I mean, what else are you supposed to do at school??

Photobucket link, large.

A while ago, I spotted a comic contest, however. After finishing this sketch I'd lost interest before putting the dialogue in, and never really got around to inking it.

Also, excellent work, peoples!

I later took it into photoshop and turned it into this.

Ashley Wood inspired popbot art (I had ALL the fun doing this, even though it's just an incredibly rough doodle-sketch thing):

Main character study of a historical fiction epic.
Of course if I actually drew the comic, the main chara won't be this detailed all the time.

FIGHT current chapter: Filling In The Gaps
FIGHT_2 current chapter: Light Years of Gold

That is absolutely stunning mlai...so intricate and detailed.
You know someone has been working hard on it when you have all that detail and all those pencil smudges.
Beautiful.

My main character eveolved and went through three versions...

final version I decided on...

Maybe Not Safe For Work, maybe not. Who can really say that they know the inner workings, of an employer's mind.

Scribbled while playing Warzone: 2100, so most of it is taken from the game or inspired by.
I wasn't very productive yesterday.
