Ok, so we had something like this in the Top Drawer, and I thought the Game Room should have one of its own, you know, since it's a sub-forum about games.

Basically, here we post PSN ID's, Live Gamertags, Wii Friend Codes, and any other such thing of that sort. Also post games you play online, and games you really like to play online.

We can also arrange events, such as tournaments and Drunk Duck member private games.

It'd be really great if Inky stickied this, and I would be eternally grateful. This is, after all, the kind of thread that should be stickied.

I'll go first.

PSN ID: LordShplane

Online Games: CoD4, Resistance, Armored Core 4, Warhawk

Preferred Games: CoD4, Resistance

I don't have an XBox, and probably wouldn't want to pay for Live if I did, or I'd post an Gamertag. I'd also post a Friend Code, but I have no idea what the thing is, and wouldn't want to play any Wii online games until Brawl comes out anyway.

steam id: viperX120
xfire: xboxfan (I've been meaning to change it, but I've had it for about 3 or so years now)

preferred games: Team fortress 2, Day of Defeat: source, CSS, Empires Mod for hl2

Yes, I play all of those games. UT2k4 is actually my favorite, but I've gotta reinstall it. I play FEAR on occasion too. I also like playing source mods.

I need some variety in my games though. I've gotta get me an rts. No MMORPGs, and I plan on keeping it that way.

but seriously, add me as a friend on Steam or Xfire and we can game.

I've actually never heard of XFire, though I've been thinking of getting a Steam account just for Orange Box.

Well I'm pretty much a PC gamer so I don't have a Live ID or a Friend Code or any of that.

I usually go by the nick of "JNels" for any online game I play, though I don't use Xfire. (Not really sure why; I guess I just haven't heard enough real testimonials about it. Is it really any good?)

Games: Nexuiz (for my old-school deathmatch); Scorched 3D (closest I'll get to a strategy game); occasionally a little Warrock (all my teamplay needs);

Yeah, all my games are freeware. Most of my big-budget PC game purchases are primarily single-player games.
A Roll of the Dice now with full-size pages!

John Clyde now with ten times the tacky Hawaiian shirts!

Xbox Live Gamertag: Rent A Thug
Games: Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 (which is significantly more awesome than the first two), Team Fortress 2, Gears of War

Crime Pays, updating Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Xfire is pretty useful if you play a lot of PC games. It basically keeps track of the games that you play and how long you play them. It tells your friends what you're playing and with most of the multiplayer games, it'll let you join their server. It works with a lot of the popular commercial games as well as free ones, and even includes some mods. Xfire also displays the IP addresses for ventrillo and teamspeak servers, and downloads patches for your games.

The in-game messaging is well done too. When someone tries to talk to you in xfire and your in the middle of a game, the message pops up in the bottom right corner. You can then respond without minimizing your game window by pressing "Scroll Lock + X". The conversation pops up in a GUI overlaying your game which you can exit simply by pressing escape or by pressing scroll lock + x again.

Just a side note.

We could make a steam group for this.

If I ever get around to getting that Steam account and Orange Box, I'll tell you. Right now I'm crying every time I have to turn off CoD4 though, so it could be a while.

I occasionally play WarCraft III under the username of LizardBite.

Not Frozen Throne, though. I lost the disc and accidentally uninstalled it. So just Reign of Chaos. The Custom Games I usually play are Empire Builder, Wintermaul, and pretty much any King Leopold game.

Ooooh! YES I need Miis in my Mii Parade! It's empty right now.... /cry

I know a few of us were talking earlier about forming a World of Warcraft guild, but I think that fell apart because a few people are overseas, so I don't think it would work.
