I am very interested in going. I am writing and assembling a new Vindibudd comic book and I would love to bring a poster and some books to the convention.

Well curses, my wingman of mayhem will probably not be accompaning me on this venture. (The dude that I do the comics with, good man, you should meet him)

I'm all for it, maybe we can talk Kris into it too.

I figure we'll talk about rooms and board after the actual convention details get straightened out.

I also know a few people in LA, so I may be able to hook us up with room for free. Depending whether or not those people are in LA at the time.

In the Navy, we have this little thing called 'community living'. It basically means that if you're an officer, you share quarters with your shipmates. All the time.

So, I'm no stranger to splitting rooms with people. Good hygiene and roguish looks are a plus, though! Haha.

I did some pokin' around and there's a Holiday Inn really close to the convention centre. But like Zac said, we can figure that junk out later.

Sweetness. This will make things much easier. Yeah, I was looking at the holiday inn across from the convention center. I think the standard room is 115 per night, regardless of occupancy, so...that would be around 38$ dollars per night.

You know, that just might work! :D

The Holiday Inn is very close to the Convention Center, it used to overlook a huge parking lot, but that lot is gone. It was replaced by construction for LA Live, an extension of the Convention Center and the Staples Center. Since I won't be able to make. I thought I should provide you a map of the general area and various (non)important info.

Anybody know id DD is planning to be at New York Comic Con.

No we will not be at New York Comic Con. I wish, but we have limited resources and doing a booth/alley etc. at a Con on the other side of the country (DD is based in LA) is no small task.

Since the interest seems to be there or a Drunk Duck Creators Alley (or some such name -- help me out here folks!) at Wizard World Los Angeles we are working on pulling off the Wizard World Los Angeles thing. Lots of details we have to work out. As soon as we have them ironed out they'll be an announcement and well start signing you folks up.

Woohoo! If that's the case I so need a room buddy. We should all figure out (if at all possible) how to room in the same block when the time comes. Anyone want to share a quiet one with the Juno? ;) lol - don't answer that.
