I've updated the first post to reflect cutoff date and users who are interested. Please make it known if you are interested in going or not. Moderators, if you notice the list isn't updated properly please help :)

I hope this goes well enough to warrant similar tables in more cons in the future; hopefully one closer to me, for starters.

Haha, judging from all the replies here I think that's what everyone's thinking and hoping. :D

I'm personally hoping for a Canadian one but I don't foresee that happening anytime soon if at all.

This sounds sweet. Is there by chance any specials on hotels and such? This is a 10 hr drive for me, so i'd be game, but i hear hotels are costly there, especially when cons are concerned. Let me know.

That would be SOOO cool. I wish i could go. :D But I live in Texas and I doubt I'd be able to get ready in time(money and planning) to do that and my normal trip to the Otakon...I'd have to think about it.

I'd love to be there. I made some big cardboard cut outs of some penis stuff that I definitly want to show off. Plus its Wizard, so I'm sure all the fanboys will love my dick and fart jokes.

Um...as a native from KC, I know that the flights to/from LA-KC are pretty cheap. No reason you can't come.

Actually, I'm planning on it. I'll have to look into hotels and all that, because all my relatives are in Northern Cali, but I think it would be really fun, especially to get to meet all you awesome people. :)

And actually, this would be my first EVER comic-con and such, what all goes down at these things?

I have bee planning a road trip out west for the last couple months.
If I can get enough pages up and convince my girlfriend that a con is better than a week in yellow stone park I will be there.

Is anything better than a week in yellowstone park? That's a tough act to beat...

Whee, it'll be my first convention too! We can go be underprepared and overwhelmed together, Wing.
I'm wondering what these qualifications will be, though.

I can probably crash one or two of you guys at my place if need be. Quack me with a what's what if you're desperate for a place to crash.

I'm gonna have to say, "No serial killers". Sorry, it's a rule in my apartment.

Don't mind Zac, he's not really a zombie- he just pretends. Sometimes I think he's a little confused.

I wouldn't mind splitting a hotel room with someone, provided they aren't put off by me clutching a can of mace in my sleep.
(haha.)

Yeah, thats probably going to be my situation as well. Let me know if anyone would be up for that.

I'm not creepy, I have good hygiene and I don't snore.

Ya'know, if that helps at all. :)

I actually would do better to split a room with some people, as I'm just a poor student who works in an ice cream store.

So if we actually get this thing pulled off, we should set up a thread about rooms, food, and times!

I'm really excited about this!

I nominate Zac to plan and execute a down-to-the-minute itenerary. It should include items like "make sure you're having fun, 12:15 - 12:17 pm", ect.

(Jeez, why am I picking on you lately?)
