the whole "cockroaches can survive radiation" thing is a total myth. although they can withstand more radiation than people, being that they're smaller, they would actually be amongst the first insects to die off. I'M THAT GUY WHO KILLS JOY.
I remember that episode of Mythbusters where they freaking nuked a bunch of different bugs. And guess who came out on top?
