Someone once described them to me as Journey, just twice as fast. I think love and hate are equally rational, based on that description.
As for me, I enjoy Journey (do I love them, or even appreciate them? Probably not). As a result, I'd say I enjoy Dragonforce.

I like through the fire in the flames, obviously but in my opinion everything else they do is so typical that it makes them irritating. And I still don't get how they can see the colored buttons THROUGH all that hair! Great guitar but very annoying/boring after a while so I have to give them an internet putdown of :(

Yeah, "Through the Fire and Flames" is awesome, but "Fury of the Storm" and "Black Fire" are epic...

I'm going to be different and say that I don't really care for Dragonforce. I'm not a big fan of music where the musicians just show off for four minutes of a song. Seems more like the musical form of masturbation to me.

I agree with elektro to a point. Yeah, the show off more than actually play music but I'll admit that I like them in a way. They're so over the top that they're impossible to take seriously and that makes them funny for me. I wouldn't pay to see them live or anything.

Well, I can't say I have anything against the band. I hate EMO & Pop (most of it at the least... Level 42 kicks ass) music with a passion, but Dragonforce is just meh to me. I don't care for it, but I don't hate it.
I saw this post here and it was the only one on the first page that gave me a thought to post on.

I was and am still to some extent a big ManOWar fan, so people I knew wanted me to listen to Dragonforce.
It literally was like Dream Theatre and Nitro (+25 points to anyone who remembers THAT crazy ass glam metal band from hell.) had a baby.
And I like Dream Theatre, but I hated Nitro.
So yeah. On the fence with this one I am.
