There was a guy doing a review comic on DD that just insulted all the comics he reviewed.
Seems to have been removed.
I cant help but feel a bit sad about that.
His reviews were rubbish trolling and he copied the concept of the comic from me and Kevin from I fell down the stairs...but the censoring of his opinions, however poorly formed, is a sad sign.

Ink monkey, your project sounds cool, you've got my interest to go and read it.

I feel a little bad for you Hark.

I know you're a bombastic fellow normally that's your style, the character you've created in the forums... but I don't see why you feel the need to embarrass yourself like that. I wasn't even ridiculing you, my last post was actually rather neutral. You were caught out going off half cocked yet again and then you dug the hole deeper and deeper and deeper.
That post was a post written in anger and haste and it shows. Try and show a little more restraint next time eh? ;)

Woah, big argument here. I don't want to put too much fire on it(although it will probably do so) but I think ozoneocean misunderstood harkovast more than the opposite. And now it seems like a battle of who's gonna have the last word because it's starting to be the same thing over and over.

But into the subject. Since I haven't put my comic yet, this never happened to me. It would probably bother me, but looking at the comment later with my head cooled off would probably make me smile. It's not worth giving them the attention they seek anyway. It makes them waste more time writing a long rant than you.

If you want to think that it's fine, but Hark had a problem here:

The section of my post Hark had a problem with is where I ask a rhetorical question, the theme of which was meant to humorously mirror an assertion he made in his own previous post about how viewers have a "right" to rant about comics after just reading a page.

So the theme he introduced was the idea of a "right" for viewers to do what Amy was complaining about: the implication there is that perhaps Amy shouldn't be complaining then because viewers are apparently only exercising their "right". And by complaining Amy would be denying that "right".
I flipped that idea around and asked if in saying that wasn't he denying Amy's right to be upset about it? (rhetorically)

But just to clarify things, to specifically try and prevent people misunderstanding me, underneath that paragraph I said Hark was NOT doing that. NOT denying any rights.
...But he and even you demontales seem to have missed that?

I then go on to say that what Hark is talking about is the idea that notoriety and popularity is good, whatever the sources. Which he doesn't deny and in fact admits.

And that's fair enough, but its not what this thread is about.

I admit that the tone of my posts can seem condescending sometimes. I'm sorry for that. Being arch and seeming condescending is a personality trait. I often have to edit my posts to try and make them seem less like that...

I stand by the actual content of my posts of course, but I apologise for writing them in such a way that they caused so much anger and offence to Hark. I didn't intend that at all and I'm very sorry for that.
