Yes my comic, Vevina and the Spooky Kids, has religion in it, but despite the fact that I believe in stuff like that, I make fun of it. God and Satan did date, but now have a vicious ex fight because, apparently, God was bi and knocked up the "Virgin" Mary. :o No offense to anybody.

I have Christian "undertones" in Better Luck Next Time. The series will always be about looking at the challenges of being a kid and seeking ways to do better..."next time" - EACH time. There's always room for improvement when you're just growing up. Even if you did well...GREAT...EXEMPLARY...The paint is never dry on human development.

I'm a Christian, yet I also believe Jesus was a simple guy. In the greater scheme of that, I believe his ministry was always about living a better life and being a better person. It was in the message he brought that was GREAT! The ability to seek within the God-given love in your heart to find the better YOU.

Someone mentioned his death on the cross...that was an end to a means. It's easy to focus on the death because yeah, his reasons according to Biblical history were so radical. When in the end, it was all about...LIFE.

All of the principles of what Christ stands for, are sprinkled in evert storyline. Do better. BE better! You may succeed, you may not...but always seek THE BEST for your life and yourself. That's BLNT.
