I played it for five minutes when it first came out and hated it. The clunky controls and crappy camera angles were what turned me off.

I thought AOL took down the original game [en.wikipedia.org] in '97. Is it even possible to still play it?

I still play it. I haven't tried going online yet. I was going to with my old character, but it got lost when my computer died, so I'm trying to build up a new one right now.

I still play it. I've heard so many bad things about NWN2, so I'm sticking with the first one. I'm holding off on going online until I get a faster connection, though. But once I do, I'll let you know if you want. :)

What bad things have you heard? The only problem I've got so far is the rather choppy framerate when there's a lot of things on screen. And I get this despite exceeding the max requirements for the game. Otherwise I like it as much as the original.

I heard it was lot more linear, but I don't tend to listen to whiny internet nerds. The only reason I don't have it yet is because I'm currently poor.
