Currently, I pay someone to color Rival Angels, but if my colorist stopped, I'd probably pick it up myself.
I like working with a team, but it's hard. Either you're paying (which is hard on me to pay it) or you are getting people that aren't getting paid or not being paid well and it's hard to have them meet a enthusiasm that mirrors yours. That doesn't make them a-holes, but it's a conumdrum. In a perfect world, I'd have dough to pay out most talent in my Rival Angels endeavor, but for now, it's mostly me and that's fine.

do you work with a team for your comics?

That's only true if you don't share the creative reins. It's money in exchange for authority.
When ppl collaborate on a non-profit project, the assumption is that they're all interested.

I work solo and I'll tell you why. There is no artistic vision fights, you can only rely on yourself to make a deadline and well....I like the peacefulness of working on my art/story on my own. I just can't imagine not doing my vision on my own.

UM... I have worked by myself, and it's good. but most of the time I find myself on some assemblence of partnership (I have no limit of volenteers to write stories for me to draw). Soon I'll be forming a trio with my old writing pal, and a colorist we've known for a while.
Partners are a good thing, they keep you grounded when you get a little crazy. And a good team can keep eachother motivated! yeah, there's disagreements, but we've never even come close to a volitile falling out.

I currently work alone :3 My sister's husband offered to color my pages for me, but coloring is my favourite part really :) I work alone mostly because I have the need to use my entire imagination, not just part of it. If I worked with a team, 2/3 of my ideas would have gone down the drainer i'm pretty sure :3

So far I work alone.
I tried to work with someone, mainly find a good artist for my stories, so that I could pitch them to a publisher, but the furthest it ever got was the character design stage. Maybe if I could afford to pay them it would be different...
Meanwhile I work alone and I learn and relearn how to make good art. This is done for two reasons: first one is to get as good as possible, hopefully good enough to get a shot at printed comics (at a normal publisher, say, Image or some other) or at least good enough to sell my work through lulu.com or some other POD site without feeling ashamed about the art (so that I don't feel like I'm ripping off people). Second reason/goal is to understand the page better, so that, while my art might not be amazing, I'll have a good grasp of what goes where, how to design great pages etc. If your art isn't amazing but that knowledge shines through the shoddy linework, you have better chances of finding an artist that will agree to work according to your thumbnails.
Ultimately, I'd like both. I have simply too many tales to tell to be able to tell them all by myself. Unless I'll spend the next forty years drawing :P

I like to have one comic I work alone on, but recently I've also been doing some side projects with other people as well.
I like both, although working in groups works better for more casual comics.

I do my comics alone but I did try a team up once, last summer. We got as far as cover art and she dissapeared on me. I waited a few months then gave up and started Snakes and Apples. She contacted me again a week or so ago about starting again but I just don't have the time now.
I like doing thing on my own anyway. I like doing things when I want to do them.

I work alone on my comic, not only out of necessity, but I just prefer to work in a box without
any outside distractions. I know what the story is and I know how I want it to be told.
The down side is it takes me a little longer and some mistakes slip through the cracks.
