I was feeling particularly bored this morning and decided to look up Disney songs in different languages. In order to promote a little culture moment, I felt like sharing those songs with you guys.
Bon Appétit.
Lion King - Be Prepared.
English:
France (Darn, Scar sure sounds devious lol!):
German (Sorry but this one kinda makes me want to yell out "Sieg Heil")
Russian (Jesus Christ. Scar sounds evil in that one :nervous:):
Japanese (This one doesn't seem to fit with the song. :():
Icelandic (My native language):

Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame sounds a lot better in German:
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Since you brought up that guy, I felt like it would be appropriate to add the French version since the song happens there. ^^:
And of course here's the Icelandic one ^^:

When I lived in Japan I used to rent various Disney videos in Japanese and I really enjoyed it. It was fun Japanese practice and sometimes it was remarkable how well they matched voices and mouth movements. And sometimes it was surprising how off the voices were.... For instance, in Japan, Pooh-san sounds a lot like a Japanese Corey Feldman. There were even a few Disney movies I saw in Japanese for my first time.
Anyway, my favorite was Beauty and the Beast.

I personally find this song to be the best Japanese dub that I've heard in a western animation.
Although I don't think that Prince of Egypt is a Disney film so it might not count. ^^'
Same song, tons of different languages:

Disney songs are best in the language they're "supposed" to be in!
